Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoli was a music superstar in Spanish-speaking countries before she conquered global music charts. Misty Copeland - Soloist, American Ballet Theatre
Misty Copeland began her ballet studies in San Pedro, California at the age of 13, and by 15 was called the Best Young Dancer in the Greater Los Angeles area by the Los Angeles Times. After winning scholarships to prestigious ballet programs, Copeland became a member of the American Ballet Theatre's corps de ballet. In 2007, Copeland became the third African American female soloist and first in two decades at the American Ballet theatre. She was also awarded a Leonore Annenberg Fellowship in the Arts in 2008 for young artists who exhibit extraordinary talent. MIsty works with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and is committed to helping girls of all backgrounds discover ballet.
Mandy Moore - Actress, Singer, Population Services International Ambassador
Amanda Leigh "Mandy" Moore released her first pop album as a teenager before breaking into film ("The Princess Diaries," "Tangled"). She supports several philanthropic causes and charities including Population Services International (PSI), a global health organization dedicated to improving the health of people in the developing world. Moore serves as a PSI Ambassador on their campaign to eradicate malaria.
Actress Ashley Judd has also served as a PSI Ambassador since 2002. Judd graduated from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government with an MPA and works on global health, social justice and human rights issues.

For Tala Raassi, fashion is freedom. At the age of 16, the Tehran-raised Raassi was jailed for wearing a miniskirt in Iran, and was punished with 40 lashes.
